Seems that TBH having got the "boot" from the now axed Fifth Gear has gone to Porsche at Silverstone. Not sure if she is just doing the videos for them or is actually going to be there! I might just have to take up my last free driving day that I never got round to booking!

I'm sure that Vicky won't be out of work for too long........her husband is on the production team for Top Gear. Hopefully she'll be asked to replace Clarkson and we can get some decent journalism and realistic reviews of cars.

My last instructor at Silverstone was her brother and he's b***y quick as well as being an good laugh, I suspect the same is true of young VBH

As Clarkson owns the fanchise, I suspect dreams of his repalcement will be just that for some time to come. Also as VBH is a good mate of his is unlikely to replace him. However I do think they should give her some "specials" slots on Top Gear, that would be fun. Especially if its shoot outs with Hammond, he's so funny when he looses and she's bound to win all the time []

I was told VBH will be running the theorey sessions for the youdrive sessions which are being held on saturday mornings at a cost of £165 per person using your own car.
They dont run the other courses on a Saturday morning which is a pity.

Barry did brilliantly beating Heki Kovalinen and Mark Weber. Barry doesnt look like a natural athlete but obviously is to beat these guys. He won the Carrera Cup in 2003 and is still very very quick with superb car control. I did my Turbo session with him at Millbrook and attended Camp 4 with him. He got me trying that awful machine and I was chuffed to do 75 (48 less than Barry in 1 minute so I wont give up my day job). I did my back in with all that bending and stretching. If any of you are temted to try watch your back and warm up first!!

In this wonderful litigation world, lets just be quite clear- she hasn't been given the 'boot', just her contract has not been renewed due to the program makers not commissioning another series... :moderator hat off:

Would agree with you Tim, Sabine wins hands down in my book, and would place my bet on her in any shoot out with VBH
