Porsche Extended Warrenty

Hi Guys & Girls
As you probably have read in my previous post I had the 111 check in view of getting the warrenty for my 2002 c2 cab, but now I'm just thinking if Ishould get the RMS & clutch done then spend another £900 for the warrenty?
What do you guys think? Is it really worth havin the Porsche warrenty?
Also had the car just over a week & now i notice some T****R has cliped my rear bumper some nice scratches for the local body shop!

Never had the warranty. Had the car for three years without any significant issue.

So £950 x 3 plus £100 ish quid for the check equals £3000ish to put towards the big bang if it ever happens. I've had the car serviced by a good specialist rather than the OPC so probably saved over £1000 there. A properly rebuilt (exchange) engine is somewhere in the £5-6000 range which means in another couple of years, I'll break even. [;)]

Believe warranty good insurance possibly depending on how and how much car used. Remember it includes a most efficient recovery service.

In the gene pool profile range I may be classed as risk averse which is why I wouldn't dream of having a 911 without the warranty.

It's not just the 'big bang' which it can help pay for itself with - particularly if you are new to ownership of your particular vehicle.

Peter
