Hi All,

Any of you done the clubs factory visit? If you have what’s it like? Thinking of maybe trying it myself?

Thanks.
Cad.

I haven't done the Club's trip, but went with my OPC a few years ago. It's totally recommended, really interesting and make sure you leave plenty of time to go round the museum and shop and eat in the restaurant. Give it a full day if you can to avoid rushing around [:D]

I'm not sure what the latest tours are like, but we did the main assembly line. There was talk that the Taycan line wold open up for tours in the near future so you may be able to do both these days.

I assume you are talking about Stuttgart?

Do not miss going to the Mercedes museum as well. Absolutely outstanding.

Yep, Porsche Museum is great for us followers, but the Merc museum ‘knocks it into a cocked hat’ [:D]

Let us know how you get on.

I'd like to do the tour but got 'missed' off the interested parties email distribution so I'll probably do this next year.

Recommend PCGB trip to the factory and Museums. A must is a trip through the production side, cars being assembled on the lines as well as walks through the engine departments etc. Agree with other comments here regarding visiting the Mercedes museum as well as the Porsche Museum. If your taking your car over then it may also be possible to book a trip up from Stuttgart to the Porsche Experience Centre at Hockenheim. Someone at Club HQ should be able to give you a steer as to these visits.
