Finally, the GT3 drivers dont like being overtaken
I think this could be part of the problem. Not my original thoughts, but I have to agree with another poster on this forum - no names but he owns perhaps the most powerful 944 in the country [
If the Turbots were allowed out at least they might have some cars available if it rained. [

Oh that's well know for being slow. [

the parade laps have been slow to take up (bookings, thst is) - the GT3 boys have been very active in helping fill the gaps; other volunteers for hot laps are still required (anyone doing a parade lap is invited to take a passenger).

I have booked a parade lap with Martyn C (reg secretary). If you require cars for other hot laps there are a number of 944 trackday regulars who would offer their services. I would be willing to do so.

Just e-mailed my RO to book up for the parade laps on the assumption we are up for taking punters on "Hot Laps".

Silly old me! [8|] I've e-mailed Martyn C as well now.
It just goes to show that you need to read the instructions on the bit of paper....in the filing cabinet..........in the basement.................behind the door...................with the sign reading "Danger, Tiger!"
How I miss Douglas Adams.

With the stairs gone it would have been tricky to get down there anyway...[

Just to clarify, parade laps (£10 a session behind pace car) and hot laps (taking passengers around to demonstrate the awesome power and handling of the 944 turbo or GT3) are seperate.
Wrong! Parade laps and hot laps are the same thing at the Festival...

Does this mean those on the GT3 register doing "Hot Laps" on Sunday & Monday are paying multiple £10 fees then Jeff?
I fear there must be some confusion hence the following post in the GT3 forum:-
"Peter, Thanks very much, you are confirmed for BOTH days.
We now have been asked for more GT3`s so the more the merrier, its a great chance to get some track time F.O.C. A RARE OPPORTUNITY THESE DAYS. "

Obviously a sensitive subject?
Might take him a while to be able to log in. Then maybe only briefly.
