Recently bought my first Porsche a 2006 Cayman S and loving it. In preperation for out of warranty service and repairs does anybody know of a quality Porsche specialist as an alternative to Porsche main dealers around the Gloucester area.

I have not seen one advertised anywhere at present I have to travel to Bristol or Swindon main dealer.

Thanks

Steve Bull specialist cars in Devizes is very good. All the team there are very enthaustic especially Chirstian. Hope this helps..

Hi Trevor,

Yes I have to agree with Stuart,

Steve Bull is probably the best independent in our area but he is further away from you than the Porsche Centre`s and as all the Porsche Centre`s seem to be doing deals it is worth phoning around.

Why don't you come to our Club night Wednesday (tomorrow) at the Compass Inn, Tormarton and have a chat about where to go.

Hi Guys

I will be joining the club shortly and would love to attend your meetings unfortunatly I am out of the country at present.

Thanks for the advice and invite.

I will look for future meetings how often do you have them.

I have no experience of them so can't personally recommend them, but there is an indy Porsche specialist in Cheltenham. They have sponsorship presence at Prescott Hillclimb. Might be worth a visit when you're back in Glos to check them out...

I usually take my air-cooled RS across to Bob Watson who definitely knows his stuff for the older cars.

Another vote for Steve and Christian. Not super cheap for an indie but certainly a good saving on a OPC (I would have thought - my car is far to old for an OPC) - either way you won't go to far wrong there.
