Hi,
Have just diagnosed my non starting Porsche to the DME relay (no surprise there I guess from reading other posts).
I think my car (1989 3.2 Carrera) is one of the very few with a factory fitted remote alarm & porsche immobiliser as it was one of the very last made I believe. On looking at the Bently manual it says that it is the remote alarm that gives the +ve power to the DME relay. However on mine it appears that in reality it is the immobiliser that gives this feed. As it happened it wasn't the immobiliser giving me this problem but for future fault diagnosis I would be much happier if I was in possession of the immobiliser wiring diagram. Does it exist, anyone know where I could get one from?! I assume it also disconnects other circuits?!
Thanks.....Steve
