We are putting on an event again in conjunction with South Lanarkshire Leisure Services on Sunday 1st September 2013 between 12 "" 4



Calderglen Country Park Strathaven Rd East-Kilbride G74 OQZ



We aim to have the largest collection of Porsches on display in Scotland and we ask your help in achieving this Last year we got 60+ despite the foul weather .This is a family day out and we have laid on activities for the whole family to enjoy . You should have had a email from Scott the RO showing all the events organized on the day as well as listed below If you want a copy email me and i will send them directly to you



Zoo * Conservatory * Adventure Playground * Face Painting * Bouncy Castle * Woodland Walks and much more .



Live music will be played during the day in the Courtyard Café where food and beverages will be available at a discounted rate of 20% to Porsche owners. .You can bring your own food if you wish as there are facilities within the park for you to do your own BBQ. In case of inclement weather that we had last year there are indoor areas within the park where you can have your picnic. And also the rangers bothy where tea and coffee is available.

We plan to have a few trade stands present giving live demonstrations as well. We hope to welcome along Porsche Centre Glasgow again on the day with a display of cars .

We hope you will come along and support us on the day and make this the largest display of Porsches seen in Scotland .

We need a lot more ..up to now not a great take up which is a bit disappointing i have to say ,all people need do is turn up and enjoy the day .Hopefully will get more signed up at the event on Sunday . Nice to hear your car will be ready for it
 
I'll be bringing my award winning 997 turbo in guards red ...... ! ;-) ten quid for charity to sit your arse in it !

Sorry Brian, thought I was going to be able to come to this but just been informed tonight that I am going away for saturday night, not getting back to later on Sunday. Will have to give it a miss kenny
 
Brian, I'd not given you my name yet because was not sure if I'd be back from US in time - but I now know I definitely won't be back in time. Sorry, would have been good to support it. Hope it goes well and you get some good weather.

Come on Guys, there must be more that can make this. It looks like a good afternoon out with the cars and would be great to see over 50 Porsches on Display. It is not a Show, more of a Gathering. Hope to see lots of you there. Alan.
 
Numbers coming along we now have 40+ cars attending so on track to get the MAGICAL 50 we hoped for with your help we can make it . The weather for Sunday is mixed BUT PLEASE PLEASE dont let that stop you from coming along there are indoor areas for you to go to .So please do not open the curtains on Sunday and see a bit of rain and think i am not going if we waited for a dry day in Scotland we would do nothing .So thank you in advance for your support and what promises to be a good day. .We will have a Best In Show award for the car you would most like to take back home with you and some nice prizes up for grabs . There is a small chance that I might be able to make it. However, I won't know until Saturday evening.

Brian it's only fair to thank you for your hard efforts in making today happen - it was a success on all counts - while it was soggy underfoot the rain stayed away and a great compliment of cars topped things off. Great to see the cars and have a few laughs . Well done thoroughly enjoyed the day - a nice way to spend a Sunday .
 
thanks Brian .. had a great ..eventually the sun shone thru & good turn out of cars 51 in total . I know the work that put into organising these events so well done and sorry Mr Nesbit for the dissapointment !! but i keep telling u the white and blue RSs are the nicest... think ill try the concours show next year maybe upset Barry [:D][:D][:D]
