I seem to recall seeing something in the Porsche Post about free inspections at one's local OPC some Saturday in October. Are these worth participating in? Mine will have just had its MOT but presumably this is more Porsche specific? Thanks in advance for any views. Best regards, Andrew

Porsche Inspection in October

So cynical
I've been to several of these free inspections, they're excellent. You'll get a mechanic put the car on a ramp spending 45 minutes or so looking over your car with you. You can ask loads of questions and get to know how it all works, common problems etc. Any small sundries need replacing they'll do that FOC. They'll also check your tyres for you and write a report. Then you can decide to get a warranty (with the inspecting fee now waived) or just say thank you and that's it.
It really is a free lunch.
