Its that time again, quote from A.Mannings £465.00 plus tax @ £23.25, & accident management service @ £24.00,
making £512.25, this is with an annual mileage declaration of 3000 miles and a £550 excess which is ok, however
there is an additional policy excess for trackdays, this has been increased to 10% of the market value or agreed value,
so an excess of £7500.00 !! has anybody else experienced this hike on the excess? I have not tried any other insurance
quotes but would be interested in any suggestions.

Steve try Hagerty. Have all my cars with them and they insure track days separate at about £25 a pop.

Track day excess with the Porsche insurance (for me that is Norwich Union via Marsh Private Clients) is also 10% of agreed value.

10% would be the current excess figure or so it seems, would also seem the insurance companies are not in favour of
trackday risk, who can blame them, not a good risk in any event.......perhaps

I was with Classicline until recently. They also operate 10% excess on track ! Think it's becoming commonplace unfortunately .
