oooch thats going to be expensive for a carrera GT, better start saving now! Only got 3 years until I am 40 and the Boxster S wont do when I hit the skids, pardon the pun!

Well I must have had my mid-life crisis when I was just about 30. Or like Heath says, when it does come the Bank manager is not going to be a happy man.

I remember my twenties crisis, I had a 2.0 Esprit turbo, it never liked cold days but in summer early in the morning it was a dream to drive when no one was about! Not going to tell how fast I went in that car.[8|]

[FONT=arial"]I've had mine and moved on!

Its nothing to do with any kind of midlife crisis... I did mine in other ways! [:)]

It is however everything to do with having a bit of spare cash. I'd have started earlier if the kids would have let me! [:D]

Would you agree? Well I am not even 40 yet and haven't had my midlife crisis, what's going to happen when it does hit? It's going to be expensive!

Heath

What a load of (poor) journalistic / marketing tosh!

Starts with a bland statement about mid-life-crisis, then fails to say how this relates to rest of the piece, which is a survey of average driver age related to car make. (So, what is the connection to the mid-life-crisis?)

Bought my car because I wanted to start enjoying what I'm earning. Think I had my mid-life-crisis in my 20s and that got me a new girlfriend, not a car![:D]

It's just light hearted article, you cant tar every one with the same brush, i have had sport cars since I was 26, had plenty of crisis on the way! [:)]

Surely that article just goes to prove your average Britain simply lacks imagination!!!??? Personally I hope for my mid life crisis in 10 yrs time I buy a lamborgini, run off to Italy with a 21yr old model, lease a yacht and blow £200k on partying !! Infact that sounds good - why wait till we reach mid-life??

I love to prove stats wrong - one of my other cars is a volvo!!

Love it :)

First Porsche at 29 ( it was 944) .. had 3 of them
First Boxster at 39 (they pretty much had just launched it) - had 5 of em so far
First Cayenne at 46

First Panamera at .. (well if they would tell me)
