Porsche Junk Yard

Hi all, was flicking around Sky last night and came across the above programme, it was on National Geographic HD.
The programme is about a Porsche breaker in LA called LAPD, they buy wrecks and strip them of all useful parts!
One 996 crashed at about 60mph, and the dials had frozen at the point of impact, they dropped the engine out of the wrecked car and sold it and shipped it immediatly, i think I would get it checked over if the impact was that severe to have had the dials frozen.
Anyway it was an interesting programme, look out for it.

See you all on Sunday

Ian

Hi Ian,

I watched that programme as well. Seems like it is the start of a new series, next episode on Sunday at 11 am and repeats at 11 pm according to the Nat Geo website. Didn`t say how many episodes there are though.

Cameron.

And it's called Porsche Junk Yard? I couldn't find it when I searched, and nothing else around the times given seemed to be the same sort of thing.

Any other details?

Had a look on the internet and it`s showing on June 1st at 9pm on National Geographic and 10pm on National Geographic +1. Also on June 2nd at 1 am and 2am on NG and NG+1.
Worth a look.
