Porsche Luncheon at Langar Hall

Region members met for one of our famous Saturday lunches that are put on throughout the year. Last Saturday 13 stalwarts visited Langar Hall, nestling in the Vale of Belvoir, for a superb lunch. More of that later!
5 Porsches conveyed their owners to this lovely venue to find our RO, Patrick, had not only arrived first but had sweet talked Imogen, the owner, into letting us park our cars on the lawn at the front of the Hall! He also left his Porsche 997 2S behind, deciding on slumming it in his immaculate blue Ferrari 550.
We parked either side of the Ferrari and I must say the vehicles made a great sight.

After pre drinks in an anti room we gathered in the Indian room for what can only be described as a fabulous meal at an extremely reasonable cost. The staff were very efficient and pleasant, The food was outstanding.
Everyone enjoyed themselves.

I have written to Langar Hall thanking them for their splendid hospitality and asked whether we can make this an annual event.

Our members really made this special so thank you all.
