I have organised a meet and photo opp with a few 944 buddies on the south side of the short straight between Indianapolis and Arnage corner at 1pm on Friday. Anyone is welcome to attend, please enter your name and car in this diary:

However be aware that there are 'rumours' that they will be closing this section of the track even earlier this year. Possibly the entire D140 from the Mulsanne roundabout up to the Arnage corner will be closed from Friday morning onwards. If this turns out to be true then we will meet at the Porsche Curves like we have done previously. These are merely internet forum rumours so hopefully they will not spoil our traditional petrolhead fun on Mad Friday. Here is a map to show the exact meeting point (and reserve) in relation to the PCGB campsite marked in red. The circuit uses the roads marked in purple

5 hours and I'm off for a nice birthday jaunt to Portsmouth.

We'll try not to drink all the beer before the lightweight squad arrives [:D]

Only the one shower, and we happened to be enjoying the cafe culture in Le Mans town when they hit so no big deal - 'course that was Wednesday so everyone else will tell you it was beautiful the whole time [8D]

.....and here's a pic.

Thanks to everyone who came [:D] (especially Nuno all the way from Portugal).

Later on we had another 944 and a 968 also join us to make a total of 9 cars in all

Glad to see you had a good time guys, and that it didn't rain.

The picture looks a bit short of black Turbots, perhaps I can assist next year in that department.
