Copied with permission from a friend who attended this event..(Thanks Greg [:D])
Great attendance and unlike my trip there a few years ago -No rain [&:]
Dates are yet to be confirmed for next year, Register trip next year anyone ?

With over 1100 cars, old and new. The annual Porsche Showtime event in Interlaken was a real hit this year.
The local Porsche dealer was on hand to offer test drives of the latest models along side tuners like Techart showing off their latest creations. There were also many race models and teams showing their race prepped cars.
A closed was on hand for those who felt the need, and fyi the 997 GT3 RS was easily the best sounding production car on the runway all day.
The most refreshing part of the meeting was just how relaxed everything was. Cars in show condition (Mostly the older classics) were welcomed alongside those sporting rubber marks and dirt from a recent track day.
A few of the cars that caught my eye:
This was one of 4 sections!

Nice pics and weather. Wish I'd known of this before and can't help but wonder if this was ante or post my weather aborted Swiss holiday. I departed Switzerland on the 9th August with a TV special programme showing pictures of a reporter in Interlaken standing next to a closed road bridge that was about to be overcome by a raging torrent of very fast flowing water. Snow was down to 2000m and not having a 4s I decided to heed the local advice and not try and make it over the Susten pass to my next hotel[&:].

However, this is the first disappointment I've had in years of Swiss summer holidays so I will be back and would be interested in combining my holiday with a register event next year, any idea of dates?

Allan, Looks like you and I have the same luck!!
Interlaken two years ago with the river flowing over the central road bridge !!

We were stuck in the Valley's with roads washed away..!!

Mind you the year before was amazing !! something that photos can't really show.

Hi Gary,
The event looked like something quite special! Do they have any dates confirmed for 2008? R20 were keen to do a Eurohoon next year, and it would be great if Interlaken was one of the waypoints on the hoon.
Do keep us posted - http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=313405&mpage=1&key=&#313405

Would indeed be great for the two groups to meet up and show a reasonable UK contingent.
As soon as I get any further information I will post it in both threads.
