Porsche museum

visited Porsche museum on my way out to attend Porsche Parade in Vienna. couldn't resist taking a photo as the car looked superb reflected in the roof.

was a little dissapointed that the staff didn't seem to have any interest at all in the fact my car is older (and fully working) than the police car they have on show.

however when we got to Vienna, it seems Wolfgang Porsche was interested

and asked if he could borrow it for the parade. well i wasn't going to say no.

In the days when Herr Karger ran the museum day-to-day he would have been more than interested in your car Helen. A really nice man who was a real enthusiast and credit to the company. Amazingly he remembered us each time we visited the old museum. Sadly he took early retirement a few years ago.

I guess the current staff are not "old hands" as he was, maybe once they have had a while to appreciate things they will become as enthusiastic?
