As the title says we have the R8 Porsche Pageant on the 29th June and it will once again the organiser has given us the opportunity to have a register day for the Cayman Register, last year we had 14 cars in a line up with a few late arrivals/early leavers coming and going so I think we did get 17 cars there, overall. Lets see if we can better that this year.[:D][:D]

Remember it's Chatsworth so close to the middle of the country and for the ladies there is the magnificent house where the film " The Duchess" was made and which was also the site of the original story, discount available to card carrying club members on the day. Tickets will be available in advance and I'll post when/where to request them.

The setting is a very good venue for our purpose and weather has mostly in the past been good.

Got my ticket a week ago! Contact Randolph Coward to buy advance tickets at £7 or it's £10 on the day, one change this year is that all cars have to be escorted into the parking area by someone on foot, so Randolph has asked for R8 volunteers to assist, other help will no doubt be appreciated. This is due to a health and safety issue since someone had an accident there in the past year ( neither PCGB or a Porsche were involved ) and they are being very safety conscious. Since this will extend the amount of time to set up the cars, a slightly earlier arrival may be beneficial. I will edit with contact details for Randolph soon and hopefully a link to allow you to print off a booking form. The event is ten weeks away, so not long to wait now.[:D]

Today I got hold of a form and have scanned it, can't remember how to load it to photobucket to give a link and so until I do, feel free to email me and I'll email the form directly to those of you who want it. [:D][:D]

Chatsworth this Sunday, we have our own register parking so another line up and let's see if we can get more there this year.

A good day in spite of early showers and we had 12 Caymans in a variety of colours lined up, the region were pleased with the day around 140 cars in total and a warm afternoon enjoyed by all.[:D]
