Porsche Parking plea! Hale, Altrincham, Cheshire

I've had my 968 Club Sport just over a week now & it's a joy in every way : I just need somewhere to park her until I move to Wilmslow ( 4-6weeks)!

I live in the middle of Hale & have space on the drive but there's two problems; the car overhangs a fair bit onto the pavement and the route it used by evening "revellers"...& a bright yellow Porsche with yellow wheels wont escape their attention.

Long shot but if you or anyone you know has spare off road parking & lives close to WA15 9AB I'd be very grateful

Worst I live in Hale but am moving to Wilmslow thread ever!

I grew up in Hale, we lived on Westgate, on the corner with Leigh Road.

Am afraid I can't help with your immediate problem but if you are really deperate, my Mum now has a bungalow in Heald Green and would probably let you park your car on her drive if I asked her nicely.

Thanks for the offer!; she's parked in Altrincham @ the moment which is not too far & I've decided the car's too good for the increasingly poor south Manchester commute so I'll hopefully be purchasing a trusty 205 for the donkey work leaving the CS for pure pleasure... which leads me to the question:can anyone suggest the best/closest car storage facilities to WA15/SK9 please?

Hadn't realised you had grown up yet,[] any way Hale is just a posh bit of Altrincham-spent my early employment years in Heald Green at Renold's Head office on Styal Rd-small world but noisy with the aircraft landing.

Hale was pretty ordinary back in 1978 when we moved there from Timperley. The yuppies only started taking over a few years later. By the time I started going out drinking, my sixth form friends and I would often end the evening by ordering a La Canadienne burger from the Canadian Charcoal Pit to be consumed adjacent the station pondering the merits of the Austin Rovers atlined up outside Drabble & Allen!

As for car storage facilities, I can't help I'm afraid.
