Porsche currently has a full postcode nav update available for PCM-3 equipped cars at a special offer price of £149.99 inc. VAT. I had the update done on my 997S.2 and my other half's Boxster last week at Porsche Bolton.
The update gives you brand new maps, full 7-digit postcode entry, a nifty drop-down menu in the map view and some new zoom options. To install the update, the OPC also has to update your PCM software to the latest version - as this is done within the special-offer price, it suddenly becomes a real bargain! (The nav update alone was almost £500 pre-offer).
Bolton told me that dealers are complaining to Porsche about the amount of workshop time these updates are taking (relative to what they can charge) so the offer's unlikely to last very long.
Take advantage whilst you can."
