Porsche plans two-door Panamera

Word is, Porsche is developing two 2 door variants of its Panamera grand tourer for a planned unveiling next year. The cars would be launched in direct competition to BMW's 8 series and Aston's Vantage.
This 2 door model is designed to offer more practicality and room over a 911, but still be considered as a 2+2 rather than outright four-seaters.
The deal has not been signed off yet by Porsche hierarchy, but planning is said to be in an advanced state.

Now if they produced a Sport Turismo version, that could be very interesting....
