Great article in this months mag Tom, I'm almost inspired to submit a write up on my own beast, that's if I can find the time, business has been very busy recently, I just hope it's not a flash in the pan!
Thanks for the feedback on the article and your input when I was looking at upgrades.
Gary beat me to the comment. There is lots of interest out there in upgrades and changes that a) actually work and b) are reliable and you can live with day in and day out.
Also of the other upgrades I looked at yours is the other route I would have gone, so its worth sharing that with your fellow enthusiasts if you have the inclination.
If your snowed under with work at the moment, I can always help you out things are dead down south in advance of the results of the pending election[8|]. yes I am a cheeky sod[8D]

If you think you've got something worthy of print, its always worth asking..
Alex and Tom have both had great articles published.

Gary, my story similar to Tom's really but different options taken to create the beast I wanted.
In brief;
Arctic Silver / Black Leather Carrera 2S manual,
Full GT3 Aerokit,
Techart sport springs riding -25mm
Techart 20" Formula's shod with 235 and 305 Michelin pilots,
Tech 9 Motorsport geometry set up,
Evoms V Flow air box and synthamax filter with GT3 fan,
Cargraphic extractor manifolds,
Cargraphic X Pipe 200 cell sport cats,
FVD Brombacher sports mufflers & centre exit tail pipes,
All Porsche parts from OPC Wilmslow, all work carried out by Tech 9 Motorsport.
Got lots of photos of the transformation so could make an interesting article.

Does all this stuff void your warranty?
Mark, technically getting an non OPC to tighten as wheel bolt can be seen as grounds for invalidating your warranty..................look at the fine print very carefully and it as much as says that in the book.
People have had their warranty renewal turned down for power cabbles for their radar detector put behind the central console and for having paintsheilds fitted by their OPC so basically any change to engine or susension, even if its air filters will be right out.
In theory if its Tuv approved it is of an equal or higher standard of componenet to Porsches OEM and has been successfully tested over a period of time in Porsche's, so the grounds for arguing back are for any Tuv rated comonent but at the moment in the UK a number of OPC's are so worried that the Warranty company will not pay them for work they are refusing pretty much anything.
To be fair here numbers of OPC's have also been very pragmatic and reasonable in their approach.
However some Porsche specialsits are fighting back and offering alternative warranties.
To be honest though once you've had this level of change you kind of want to stick to using the guys who set your car up as there are so many specialised parts and the guys used know your car as it becomes something quite different from the standard car.

For sure, but my mods were done outside of the Porsche standard warranty, and I've opted for the Techart/Tech9 warranty which covers the modified car.ORIGINAL: blueSL
