Over the past few years we've tried to get pictures worthy of the cover, just to get the 997 club life shown.
Obviously I'm really pleased it was one of my images that was chosen but would have been as happy to see any register member pictures showing the spirit of the trips.
Kings and castles was a brilliant trip and as said in the article, something I'll revisit in the future.

I was very impressed on how good the colour of Meteor came out in the pictures- that and my car looked rather clean for a change []

Pages 34-36 of the same issue has the report by Alison Hutchinson of our Monaco Historic GP trip in May this year. Pleased my photos made it as well, yet more input from the 997 register.

We also visited the Porsche museum on the way there, after the GP we went on the Lake Garda to see the start of the Mille Miglia.

We were more than pleased with our 'Saturday Night on the IOW' article too. It also looks like the club got smart and reached out to the Red Funnel ferry guys that helped us out and got them to run an ad alongside our report.

I thought it did feel like a great 'club' feel magazine this month, and nice to remind ourselves how much fn we had during the summer- now that many of us have packed our cars away for winter (or sold them [:-])
