(I think Thames Valley members may already know about this one - certainly those on the email list)

Julian Hardy, the dealer principal of Porsche Centre Reading, told me last night that they are having a sportscar weekend / Christmas Fayre this coming Saturday and Sunday

They have arranged for a variety of interesting Porsches to be there, including an ex Le Mans 917 !

Bridgestone Tyres will be there with a F1 Simulator, and there will be a Scalextric challenge

On the Saturday, you can have a free car inspection, this needs to be booked directly with OPC Reading (0118 930 3911)

And of course there will be Porsche Selection merchandise available for you to buy (just in time for Christmas[:D])
(If anyone is feeling flush and doesn't know what to buy me for christmas, the new Boxster will also be on display... ;) )

The opening Hours are
9 to 5 on Saturday,
11 to 4 on Sunday.

Porsche Centre Reading are located just off M4 Junctiuon 12 at
Bath Road
Calcot
Reading
Berkshire
RG31 7SG

There is a map and directions available on the website - http://www2.uk.porsche.com/reading/

Thanks Mark for that!

All: Have a look @ the "Reminder: Events" Post.

As you can see, there are good benefits to communicate with 21st Century Tools [;)](= those who are on the E-mail list got this info 2 weeks ago).

Thanks!

Fab

Mark,

If you get to sneek a look round the back keep an eye out for my Cobalt blue GT3 Clubsport (but with leather seats). I'm finally collecting it on the 4th.

Regards

I am going to try and get their early Saturday as I will have to leave Reading by 11 am to get back to watch England v Australia Rugby and I need to get a space in a very small pub!!!

Kevin

Mark will have to wait for his test drive until Tim Court, The Savege & I have thrashed the nuts off it on Sunday.

Only if you like Porsches Alexander [:D]
Yes it was a great day in likeminded company as usual.

I was lucky enough to meet Julian Hardy the Dealer Principal, i asked him if it was possible to have a peek at the workshop contents, Im glad i asked now, 2 CGTs, 3 959s, and a load of the other usual stuff.
He removed the cover from a CGT so i could have a photo or 20 [:D]

Thanks again Julian if you happen to read this.............
