Porsche recommended tyres 2011

What's even more odd is that they were fitted by Porsche as OE on the Turbo! They were the original fitment on mine (although I bought it second hand) and I've continued to run them - good mileage and great in the wet (MUCH better than the Michelin on a friend's 996 C4S).
 
I think they must have been omitted from the list by mistake. AFAIK, the 295/30/18 is only fitted to the C4S and Turbo, so if they are making an N-rated tyre in that size, what else could it be for?

Edit: they dont make a 235 for the front of the GT3, so it can't be for that.
 
I 've been running the pirelli's on my 996 turbo and have found them a lot better than the michelins on my previous one, especially at a wet oulton park track day!
