Porsche Repairs in Scotland

Arran

New member
Hi Folks,

I'm an Boxster S owner living on Arran needing a number of jobs done on my car. They range from new tyres, a new exhaust and a creeking suspension system. I tend to use the Glasgow OPC for my servicing but to be frank I nearly choked when they quoted me for the exhaust! Any advice/suggestions/recommendations for independant specialists in Scotland would be appreciated.

PS. Is the Wheel Specialist deal still on the go?

Go to Stainless Creations in Falkirk for your exhaust. Alistair is a porsche owner and will do an exhaust to your spec.

He will also quote for other work, brakes, suspension(KW),tyres and bushes no problem.

Need to get my 968 serviced by him in the near future.

Give him a call to discuss.

Yes it is just give me a call when you are ready and will let him know this is a further recommend( my number 01355 233482) as to the other requests try Geo Morrison 0141 643 1768
Owen Ferry 0141 843 5773 both are in the west side ,as to tyres i have used Jim Dickson Cumbernauld decide on what make you want and then do searches for the best deal even buy then supply only and any of the good garages will charge no more than £25 for fit and balance per wheel

Thanks both for the advice and help with this, I thought I was going have to head south of the border. Its good to know that there are quality alternatives up here without needing to go to an OPC. I would like to meet up at sometime at the club meets but being Island based makes its difficult to arrange. I must admit some of the programme sounds great. Thanks again for your help its very much appreciated.

There's a lot of options for independent Porsche garages in the Central belt. Brian Miller Motors in Edinburgh and Motortune in Shotts are both very good and there's also RPM in Glasgow. A quick Google search will bring up phone numbers for all three.

Thanks for that - I'll do the search and contact them in the next couple of days. I promise to let you know how I get on.

Thanks again for all your help.
