Porsche Service

I have experienced several issues that my local dealership seem extremely slow to respond to and resolve. Now awaiting Porsche GB technical instruction on how to fix.

I'm interested in your experience of Porsche dealerships after sales service and support should anyone have incurred any of the following problems:
"¢ Following a wonderful summer of top down motoring I have discovered matching oil marks on both sides of my soft top that so far the dealer has been unable to remove. Allegedly caused by over oiling at manufacture.
"¢ Rear offside window vibrates. This was repaired back in April 2013 but has just started to occur again.
"¢ Following almost every visit to the dealership the car has been returning with oil stains on carpet and interior leather trim.

So fair to say I am unimpressed with the standard of this my second 911 experience

Sounds like you need to change Porsche Centres or at the very least request an urgent meeting with your dealer principal.

Regard,

Clive

More puzzling is how this is posted in the Club Members only section!
Did you buy the car from new, and from the same dealership?

Very strange, did one of the moderators move it?

I've put it in the general 991 section, as the OP couldn't see the replies in the members-only area. [&:]

The car has been back for another week with the Silverstone dealership that I purchased the car from. They now claim the oil marks on the roof are normal crease marks! This matter has been escalated to the Dealer Principle and Porsche GB Customer Service.
1st Nov - Dealer Principle also feels the non identical staining on both sides of the roof are normal!![]

If anyone out there has any influence to resolve this matter please do let me know as I just want to enjoy this wonderful car without it sitting in the dealer workshop.

I have been informed by Porsche GB that these marks occur when the roof is stowed and normal. Good to hear if other 991 Convertible members have notices similar?

Have my cabrio for one month and don't have such mark. But roof down only three times may be other member who used their car for longer could advise...

Hi
I have no issues with my OPC they are very very good. I have my cabrio now a year and have no such marks. Looking at your photo it dosent look normal to me and i would not be very happy if the marks would appear on my roof. The idea of it was caused at the factory ????, i would not accept that, request a new roof. A car of that price !!!! you need better service. Good luck

I'd be concerened about having the roof changed by OPC techs as could damage area of car not easily seen..... Isn't there another way of getting it out. How about asking a detailer?
