My 993 needs a service. Any suggestions on where I should take it? I'm near to Newport.

Hi I thought about going to an indie, but ended up having my RS serviced at OPC Cardiff last year and have booked in again for a check up next week. Have dealt with Mike Davies, service manager, and have been pretty satisfied. Very reasonable rates for older cars also.... think they may be trying to lure 'classics' back into the fold!! HTH
 
Try Chris Denning off Norman Road, Whitchurch, Cardiff. Was senior technician / engineer many years at Merlin (Porsche Cardiff) and more recently Porsche Centre Cardiff. Looked after my 993 rs and 993 turbo s while he was there. About to set up Independent Porsche Specialist Garage, should be open late January early February. Not sure how they can replace him at OPC!

I can recommend Cardiff OPC very highly and have nothing other than confidence in Martin and his team. I had my 993 serviced there several years ago and was more than satisfied with the service and the price. Since then I have purchased 2 997 Carrera S's from there and two Cayenne S's for my wife and anything that needed doing, although only minor, I was again greeted by Martin and his team and given the most professional service you would expect. I can only recommend using them or at least go and chat to Martin with your requirements.
 
Hi, I can also recommend Cardiff OPC. I bought my 996 C4S from them 3 years ago. I have had my servicing and MOT's done subsequently, no problems and very happy with the work and hospitality. Due a service now actually!! My beast will be in soon Martin. Alan
 
Thanks to you all for your comments and advice. My cars have been serviced by Cardiff OPC for the past few years and the consensus seems to be that this should continue. I'll book it in. Bernard
