Anyone going to the Modern Porsche event at silverstone on the 23rd May? I know its mainly for the latter year cars but I think I'm going to have a look, was the only national event I didnt go to last year.

Apparently its held at the Porsche Driving Centre where you can also get to drive a modern porsche through one of the courses.

Am certainly giving it serious consideration as likewise its an event I have yet to go to. Would be good to get a co-ordinated 944 presence there.

Hi Edd
Would love to go but I'm at Rockingham on the Saturday and even my wife likes to see me sometimes!

There will be plenty of 944 owners there. It's not at all meant to be a "modern" event only, but that the displays etc. will be themed around modern. All it means is that the other cars will park somewhere different, as the modern cars will at Porsche & Polo.

I hope to go to all three, but it's a bit work-dependant. [&o]

I know, I'm trying to generate interest from those who visit this forum...
