Porsche specialist in Inverness, Highlands?

Just wondering if any of you know of a Porsche specialist in Inverness or around the Highlands? I have just recently bought a 2005 Boxster S and hope to find someone who can do the odd repair/perform diagnostic checks as required. I intend on using Edinburgh PC for my main servicing requirements. Thanks for your time.

Thanks for your reply Ian, my first post so much appreciated. I have only owned my car for 6 months or so and loving every minute. I do fear that if something goes wrong I'll end up stuck so hopefully your man will be available to help me out with any problems or maintenance required? However, so far so good and the roads around the Highlands sure are entertaining! Thanks again for your time.

Craig

OPC Aberdeen is closer to you than Edinburgh, is there a reason you did not mention them?

I have heard a few good things about Edinburgh and a few bad things about Aberdeen. Edinburgh is just as easy as Aberdeen for me so I reckon I'd be better off going with 'word of mouth' recommendations. Perhaps an OPC will open in Inverness soon.........

Just had my first major service and a couple of bits and bobs from Aberdeen-Scott Byers and his team did a great job-no hesitation in recommending them-some nice extra touches at no extra charge :)

Keith, many thanks for taking the time to let us all know how you got on. Since starting this thread I have heard a few good things about Aberdeen, long may they continue to provide such a good 'service'. Nice touch that you got a couple of extras thrown in.

Oh Keith, you sure are a sweet talker!!
Good to see you on the forum. Are you coming along on Sunday?

Hi Craig,

no matter which OPC you use, you will find someone thats had an issue with them, the same with every independant, all of them deal with hundreds of customers per year and it would be impossible to please everyone all of the time.

I deal with Edinburgh regularly and I know a few of this forum have been very well looked after - still know some that dont like them,

What you need to do whoever you use, is speak to their service manager personally and tell them you are in the club, if you are using Edinburgh you should give Derek Tracey a call and before you book the car in, discuss what you want doing and what price you want to pay, all club members get a minimum 10% discount on service.

Glad your enjoying the porsche - and welcome to the forum mr bowman - didnt know you were on here - Kim says you were toooo slooooow at knockhill - spent to much time braking ! [:D]

Hey dude-yes nobody reminded me about cooling the brakes :)
Speed wise was about 140 mph under the bridge and 120 mph before braking for the hairpin. Thanks to the help from Sasha and Kims friend with the Caterham I think my times were pretty respectable by the end of the session-be faster than you no doubt (as usual)-wore my front passenger tyre to the cloth-oops
