Well just to let all the world know .....

I was kindly invited to take part in the regional round of the Porsche Cup held a Wynyard Golf Club today ......

Yes I came 2nd. I won a fab Crystal award. Money Voucher & a automatic invite to the National round in Ireland .... 18th September (gutted)

 
Yes I had 16 points after 7 holes then the wheels fell off - good old chipping woes strike again. Mind there was a LOT of sand in the fairway bunkers which also proved troublesome.

I was also aware that I was on holiday in Portugal when the National round was to be played so I deliberately eased off the pedal [;)][;)].

All in all a great day with great people, great weather & great hospitality

No doubt we will be seeing the trophy at the next club night or will it be winding its way down to Silverstone, lol.
