Porsche Turbo Registration Plate

Hi guys and girls.

I hope that there is someone out there that can help me.

I purchased the registration mark 'PT11RBO' which I thought would look good on my new Panamera Turbo that I have purchased that is coming in March 2011.

Unfortunately, my wife does not think it a good idea (to put it lightly) and freaked out last night when I told her I got it.

I have spoken to the registation dealer I purchased it from and they have offered me quite a bit less than they charged me just yesterday - and I would rather not deal with them again.

I have to sell it (or else) so I do not know if there is someone out there that is planning to get a new 911 Turbo / Panamera Turbo / Cayenne Turbo that may like to take this off my hands.

It could make a good Christmas present!

Offers of around £2500.00 (in fact, I will listen to any sensible offers to get my wife off my back and show her I can be sensible!).

Thanks.

your wife clearly doesnt agree!!

oh dear....

good luck with the sale and your wife[:D]

My wife doesnt get the car thing at all.

She wouldnt let me buy a new 997 Turbo as she said that it looks exactly like my 996 (carrera4S) ??????

She said the 911 was too small for the kids anyway, but said that a Panamera was OK as I wouldnt drive as quickly in it. She doesnt have a clue on how fast the Panamera is.

But she doesnt think I should be spending money on car registrations, when I have a perfectly good one already and she wont budge.

If only it were a simple as buying her a pair of shoes or handbag!

Tell her the intelligensia at the Porsche Club say it's an investment and in a few years will be worth twice as much!
It's pointless chucking away good money because she thinks you're wasting money on it - you've already bought it!

Wrap it in nice Christmas paper and give her it as a present. At least you should then have a quiet Christmas either in hospital or at home because she is not speaking to you!
