Yep CHEERS Des & Mel for all the hard work put in to making our register area work so well. It was good to meet up with fellow RS owners and put a few names to faces. The festival was one of the best I have attended and thanks should go to all that worked hard in the background to make it work so well.

Stuck my head in yesterday arvo... saw the Desmondowagen, the Merkinmobile and even Feroz's car... but no sign of said owners. Had a chat with the AmD boys; I notice Peter Earnshaw's yellow 964RS with Motec+2 (340bhp) is being sold for 35k currently.

Hello Badger Basher did you arrive by Stealth or Osmosis? Was never more than a few minutes away from the Register Display and WHERE IS YOUR RS rumour has it that it is cloaked a la Klingon and only exists in anti-matter.........bring it to JZ for a free GEOMETRY check up if you can.....and you have our mobile numbers so no excuse for no contact......a little birdie tells me that you were leading the way to the pub and it got a bit too exciting....gulp....[:'(]

Domster - I thought I saw you at the AmD stand but I wasn't sure it was you (I think you may have brushed you hair or something). Looking forward to seeing the car when it is ready.

Tim - looking good on track, seems like you are having lots of fun. Popped over to say hello but you were always on track or getting ready to get on track, good effort.

Good weekend I thought, just wish I could have made both days to watch some more of the racing.

I was there all weekend and apart from the rain and wind it was a bloody good show. Special thanks must go to the Beachmeister Eion Sloan, what a great guy, all his enthusiasm and energy resulting in one of the best displays of historic Porsche I have ever seen, even better was the fact that most of them were alive. I was a bit dissapointed not to hear and see the GT1 in action but it apparently needs five people to start it. Made some new friends, finally got to meet John Bellringer and will hook up at the ACE soon no doubt, missed some others. Parade laps and in particular the farewell laps provided lots of excitement and an opportunity to follow a GT3 at close quarters. Great displays of every type of Porsche including a nice turn out of SCs.The whackiest moment for me was slowly moving down Paddock Hill on the 'Record Attempt' to eventually pass John Hearn looking for all the world like a French farmer on a Porsche tractor!
My only gripe is that if there is a 'buffet' for people who have helped out on Saturday it should be available to all at a reasonable price and if there is to be a major social event - the black tie dinner - then there should be a casual dress equivalent so WE CAN ALL SOCIALISE! That one gripe apart many thanks to those in the office who have all worked tirelessly to make this happen and personally to Robin Walker for being a good egg. Lets do it again.

Desmundo... I arrived by C4 Cab actually, the Osmosis was in the garage. The Baron is nearly back, awaiting MoT. Sadly my tech is mega busy and was working at the festival of pork as well. Have trackday at R'ham late Sep and will defo do JZ day even though geometry should be spot on (running cup suspension as well). Didn't have you or Merkin Melv's moby with me or I would have called and met up.

Feroz - yup, that was me at AmD stand with the dodgy barnet!

well said Timbo .....and special mention for DES....you did a brilliant job and its true what people say about you []

The register lineup was in a great position and plenty of variety in the cars for colour and kit. The BLING BLING award goes to DES, no one else was close , although even DES was outstickered on the Sunday by another white vehicle []

YODA, was yours the black car there on sunday, left hand end of line ? When is your next trackday ?

DOMSTER...sorry to have missed you , my car was in the display both days as proof of existence , sadly its not talking to me cos I drove like a wimp on the Friday trackday with right hand indicator permanently on , combination of missing bottle and wet track wrong tyres.

LEE , having seen your car its too mint to track. Why dont you get a nice scruffy one that you can relax and enjoy on track, something with a bit of previous ?

Oldtimer, I was only there on the Monday. Next track day booked is PCGB @ Donington on 22 Oct. Looking to book something in Sept and may be doing Brands GP on 29 Sept (may not be in my car, trying to arrange a CPA for some friends at work).

I Can't sell the old girl (or the car for that matter) and it would be slightly daft to buy another. Reckon I might be tempted one day to buy a LHD 993 in white, strip it and bolt a cage in and go the full monty. Or just buy a GT-3 and go a bit slower....Thats when I'm rich and famous.

Thanks Des and Mel for the weekend. Very well organised and the VIP parking was the icing on the cake.....I just wished I'd managed to meet some of you other guys...

Oh and for me the mint green CS was the I'd most like to take home...Stunning
