We are having free 111 point inspection check at Porsche Centre West London for all PCGB members on Saturday, 13th of October, 2007. This is the same inspection check as required for the Extended Warranty. This will be a full day event and a good chance to meet other members whilst browsing their showroom, we can also have lunch in Chiswick if there is enough interest. There is a nice pub within walking distance of the centre. There will be the usual refreshments, pastries, etc at the centre. You will have an hour with your car and the Porsche technician (or you can leave your car and pick up the report in an hour). Booking is essential and slots are available on first come first served basis. Booking details:Please ring Porsche West London directly on 0208 742 7000 and ask for Noel in the Service department and state reference '13OCT Porsche Club GB day'; Noel will help you with the booking and answer any other query you have for the day. Just pick an hour slot from what is available and that is it. Please have your membership number ready. If anyone is interested in taking up the extended warranty after the inspection (if it comes out clean [
]) then I can have a word as it will save you the inspection fee which is some £200(?). This is not something they have asked and they have no intention of using this to promote extended warranty; it is simply an inspection we requested as we wanted to evolve the free 15 minute health check we have had with them in the past. The Extended Warranty is only available for cars 2 - 9 years old. We will also be doing a similar event with Porsche East London in the Spring.
