Porsche924.co.uk - Day out at Bruntingthorpe

We had a little day out for some photos, a run around the airfield circuit and a blast down the runway.

An eclectic mix of cars on show. A prequel to our National get together which is in two weeks time on 15th May at Coventry Transport Museum.

Great pictures, reminds me of some good day 25 years ago when I had lots of fun on the tarmac (and in the hangers) there.

The Bath Hotel (on the road to the old A50 - now the A5199?) was my second home for 10 years.

Just had a fabulous weekend at the Donington Historic Meeting with R8.
Only two 924's on the PCGB pitch of over 50 cars.
One very special GTS, I think the ex Bell car.
Plus my 924S LeMans.
Looking forward to Coventry.

No thats Ricky Cesears car. Bell was quoted that he'd not sell his GTS and is believed to still own it although it was recently seen at Porsche Classic workshop in Stuttgart

BH! and I thought we could turn up and merge into the background......[8D]

We had a fabulous time and it was great to meet you.
At least the 924GTS had a 'Bell' sticker in the rear window so it was my mistake.
Wonderful car though....!

Looks like a cracking run out and good to see my old car still running around, all be it bright yellow now!! (Used to look like this)
