FROM GEOFF IVES:

Porsche & Polo. A celebration of the middle years. This is a celebration of the cars that WE drive. It is our turn in the spotlight. For years we have claimed that newer/older models get more coverage. It is our turn now and we must take advantage of it. If you need any help, information or further details please email me at eventsdirector@porscheclubgb.com or telephone me on 01865 880626. Geoff Ives Director PCGB.

So far: Mel 964 Cup Richard Claridge 964RS Andy Rose 964 Anybody else????[]

Love to but at Donington for See Red, last chance to see the old place before it's totally blxd for the F1 money circus! Tony

I thoroughly enjoyed today and Mrs RSGulp had a great time too. Met some nice folks, enjoyed the Spears Towers hospitality, the weather was dry, the polo was action-packed and I even got to wrestle with a hunting dog to stop it eating our picnic - what more could you ask for from a Porsche Club event? Thanks to all involved with it's organisation.

For those that made the effort, thankyou!! That second high goal game was cracking and you won't often see better polo than that!

Did you trample the turf at half time? Was it Elephant polo? We're good at that up here! Were World Champions until recently. Not sure who beat us last time out.

You Jocks make me laugh .... there we are little Macedonia and all the hype must win game which Scotland wrangles with the most talentless bunch of skirt lifters I have seen in my life and now got to beat HOLLAND! And then having beat Holland struggle to qualify as the 8th worst runner up or better ..... just chuck the towel in and keep tossing that Caber Jimmy[;)] On a serious note Andi Murray looking good in the US Open .... he has a Carrera GT[:)]

Remember who beat us in the last knock out qualifiers. Hardly a word beating team then. Seems to be better now though. Elephant polo is our main ball sport up here Des. We beat Holland in 78 with the help of Archie Gemmel!

ORIGINAL: carreraboy Yes ball playing is rife in Fife!:ROFLMAO:[sm=kiss.gif]:ROFLMAO:[sm=kiss.gif][:D]
How did you know Stephen Hendry comes from fife? Did I say that Andy Murray from up here too? He'll smash your balls if you don't watch out Des.
