Wow good photo stitching job; software or manual?

To everyone: I have some more London region stickers which I picked up from the club house yesterday, so just come and pick one up from me at the Ace meet on Wednesday.

OK guys, for the benefit of those of us who didn't make it, and since no one else has asked yet...............

What award?

and congratulations! [:D]

The London Region won the Sheffield Trophy which was awarded to the Region that has done the most to improve its activities for its members. This is down to the work that Adrien and Kish and Des have done to organise meeting places for the London Region members and surrounding Regions to come together. The award also comes with a Bursary of £500 which "Team London" will be able to spend on stuff for the region. Well done to the Team, well deserved.

Well done boys, thoroughly well deserved!!

Any problems spending the money and I'll be right here with ideas![;)]

Good going guys!

Nice forecast for tomo so hope for a good turnout.

Cheers

Thanks Robin!

The award was really very unexpected, and I think it is a credit to the effort that everyone - the members, Board Directors, and Club Office - contributed to support us and the London Region over the past year. Many many thanks to everyone involved, and hopefully 2007 will build upon the fun all of us had last year.

Apart from some localish events, don't forget that we are still planning a longer Eurohoon/roadtrip later this year - possibly towards the late summer or Autumn (low season) time. I can easily see a convoy through the Alps down to Italy (Italian factory tours), Monaco, and back via the 'Ring and Porsche Museum as something to consider and will be a lot of fun. Any volunteers to help with the planning?

As ever, we need your ideas to help make the region a success!

Cheers
[:)]

Hey Adrien,

Sounds like a great plan, if you need any help, just ask![;)]

Rodney,
Do you want to start planning the itinerary? [;)]

Key waypoints to think about:
* the 'Ring
* Porsche Factory Museum
* Alps (take your pic of route)
* Monaco
* Gorge du Verdon/Route Napoleon
* Italian factory tours
* ??

Too much to cover in 8 days?

I'll have a search on the interweb and see what other people have done/whats viable etc then get back to you.
Working on it as we speak!

Cheers bud. Timing wise, how about something around low season in early October time? Still warm enough, often still sunny, not too hot and clear roads!

Yup, sounds good....Pistonheads is full of useful info, they've done lots of 'Eurohoons' covering most of the good routes.....I'll collate all the useful bits onto a document, then let everyone decide what they'd like most.
