We are pleased to say this has been very well supported, the event is now full Following on from the recent announcement on the R7 calendar of events, here are the initial details of the Porsches on the Prom taking place on 16th April. We are invited to gather at Porsche Centre Hull from 9:00am, our hosts are generously providing a breakfast before our drive to Bridlington. We have taken advantage of the beautiful rolling Wolds countryside to take you on a scenic excursion, for those who have a navigator, some observation questions will be provided to keep you occupied as you follow the suggested route which will be provided in a google maps form. Should you be unable to make the start at Listers Porsche in Hull, we ask that you do not arrive at Bridlington Spa before 10:30am This is to allow the parking marshals sufficient time to be in place for your arrival. The Bridlington Park and Ride car parkis available as an assembly point. The team at the Spa will be on hand with a pour and serve of complimentary refreshments, featuring their excellent cakes and hot drinks from 11:00am in the "Sessions” room.
Whilst you are in Bridlington take the time to explore the area, the RNLI station has very kindly offered to provide tours of the lifeboat facility to our members, they have also given us access to use their facilities to display our cars.
There will be a small charge for this event of £5 per person, money raised will be donated to the RNLI, a key member of the Bridlington community. The parking around the Spa allows us the opportunity to have displays which give visual examples of how the popular Porsche models have developed over the years, we have space to park 911's from each generation, similar displays for the Boxster and Cayman are also planned to show the transition over time.
