We have been invited to attend this event. It looks good, anyone interested?

"PORSCHES ON THE PROM"

The event will take place on Sunday 28th April, at the North Shore Promenade in Llandudno. Cars participating are expected to arrive from 11 am, and the display is due to finish at 4 pm with a drive around the famous Great Orme.

Everyone is welcome to attend and there will be no entrance fee. Last year we had 93 cars on display and this year we are aiming once again to see at least 100 cars. The only stipulation is that if your car suffers from any form of leak, we would appreciate it, if you would bring a drip tray or a mat, as oil on the Prom is a NO NO !!!!!.

Entry to the Prom will be from opposite the "St George Hotel", and a speed limit of 5 mph will be in force as there will be many pedestrians present on the Prom.

Cars will be parked "Le Mans" style, with the rear end facing the sea. It had been suggested in the past that cars should be parked according to registers or even colours, however it will be as you arrive.

On the preceding Saturday 27th, we will be holding a track day at the new Anglesey circuit and we hope members and non-members might avail themselves of the opportunity to have a go.

There is a lot of good affordable accommodation available both in Anglesey and in the Glandular area ,with quite a few good restaurants ranging from "Fish & Chips" to fine dining. As there is such a good selection of eateries available and the wish of members to remain flexible, we do not propose to organise a formal meal.

At around 4 pm as the display ends, we would suggest a drive around the "Great Ore" using the Marine Drive toll road at a cost of £2.50. This is truly a spectacular scenic drive and we feel it would be an excellent way to end a fantastic day out to Llandudno.
