Hi Chaps,

Had a couple of people ask about arrangements for the day. What time can they turn up from and do you close the prom off at some point, or can they turn up at any time?

The event starts at 11 am, so you can turn up anytime after that. No we dont close off the Prom. You can come anytime up to close at 4 pm.

Look forward to seeing you all there.

Regards

Don't forget, this excellent event is preceded by a Track Day at the Anglsey Circuit on Saturday 27th April. Full details in the current Porsche Post.

I believe R7 members will be amongst others enjoying the hospitality of The Groes Inn for those making a weekend of it.

What a great weekend for the Club - catering for those that enjoy driving the excellent roads of North Wales, track day enthusiasts and those that enjoy static events!

Mark, I have sent you a PM with all the info on this for members of your region which hopefully will be of assistance.

I can confirm it's a bit slippy at the mo on the Anglesey circuit when wet, here's a clip from the rally I did last Sunday this is coming out of turn 1 into the banking

Here's to hoping it's dry for the track day [:D]

A load of fat tyred Porsches will soon dry it out...

Fingers crossed! Looking at the weather forecast tonight, anything less than snow will be welcome!

Hell-if the track is that slippy, then I'll have to drill double the no of drainage holes for both gravel & seawater.[&o]

Hi Brendan

Where are the prom do you all meet?

A&G

Opposite the "St Georges Hotel" is the entrance to the Prom. It is about 200 metres down from the pier.

Good turnout:

R6, have to congratulate you on the outstanding turnout for today's Porsches on the Prom event. To go from 93 last year to over 200 this year is a great achievement, glad to have been part of it.

Here's a link to our pics, I'm sure there are plenty more around, look forward to seeing them posted on the forum.
