Hi All

Please forgive me for any confusion caused by the conflicting dates in the recent issue of Porsche Post for next year's event "Porsches on the Prom"

The original date was April 27th and this was submitted for publication in the R6 regional report. However since that submission, we have had to change the date to Sunday May 18th, as the original date clashed with the "St George's Rally"

On the preceding Saturday May 17th, we will be holding a Track Day at the magnificent Anglesey Race Circuit. This event was again requested by members who took part last year and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

The weather in Llandudno in May is usually wonderful and we are hoping to have 300 cars on the Prom. There is plenty of good reasonably priced accommodation available in Llandudno and surrounding areas and with some of the best Fish & Chips served anywhere in the country, it is certainly worthwhile coming along and making a glorious weekend of it.

Further details will be published in next month's Porsche Post.

Warmest regards

Brendan Daly
Retiring RO6.

Great to see that the Anglesey track day is already confirmed again Brendan. I've started a thread on the track day forum to see if we can generate some more interest in it:

Yes, it is great news that this has been confirmed.

Brendan asked me before Christmas if I would help promote the Anglesey track day amongst R18 and the forum and I have said I would be happy to.

Now that the date is confirmed and we have got Christmas out of the way let's bring it on!!

Hi

Just thought I would say I am coming along to the track day on Saturday, and staying over for the Porsches on the Prom event on the Sunday.

Only planning on being a spectator on Saturday, but still looking forward to a great weekend.

Regards

Malc Draper - Region 10

Hi Malc

Great to hear you are coming to North Wales. I am sure you will enjoy yourself at the Anglesey track day and Sunday at Llandudno should be great. We are expecting some brilliant weather for the weekend.

I will be at both the track day and the Prom so come and say hello.

Warmest regards

Hi Brendan

Is there anywhere specific we need to be on the Sunday or do we just turn up and park on the promenade?

I will be staying at the Imperial Hotel so already on the front, so just need to know times and place [:)]

Thanks
Martin

I got Down for about 9am last year mate you drive on the pier entrance and drive down there are normally a few early show's[;)]

Hi Martin

There is no specific order to the parking. Just turn up after 10am and you will be directed to a parking spot.

The Prom is the North Shore Prom opposite the Imperial Hotel.

See you there.

Hi Brendan. Will try and make it this year. Especially for this fish and chips you mention. What's the name of the chippie??

Just to say thanks to Brendan and the team for a great day! Our second Porsches on the Prom, and thoroughly enjoyed it again.
Hope we can do it again next year?

Thanks again,
Richard (grey Cayman)

Glad you enjoyed your day Richard. As you said the weather was perfect and I am delighted to say that we exceeded our last years figure.....We had 221 beautiful cars on the Prom.
Thank you all for coming and lets hope next year will be just as good if not better.

I would also like to say a massive well done to the organisers. Weather was fantastic and the location is superb to show off our cars. and well worth the 400 mile round trip.

Can highly recommend Llandudno for a good hotel and a plenty of restaurants [:D]

Won't overload with pictures so here's a couple of mine and a view of the cars on the day
