Please see the following message from Daisybeck productions about a programme for ITV4 called Used Car Roadshow.

If you have either an early 993 turbo or a late 924S your car could be featured in the show. If you are interested in taking part, please get in touch with Thomas Maguire using the contact details given. If you do take part let us know by e-mailing me or posting on the forum so that we can put something in Porsche Post and on the website. This could be your 15 minutes of fame!

"My name is Thomas Maguire and I am writing from an independent TV company called Daisybeck Productions where we are about to start shooting the third series of an ITV4 programme called Used Car Roadshow. Within the show we are hoping to feature a Porsche 911 Turbo from the mid-90s (i.e. an early 993 Turbo) and a 924S on a 1988/89 plate ideally but earlier is OK too, and I thought you might be able to raise a little interest through your website and/or members' list. The items themselves will be an examination of how different cars have, and will, depreciate in value, and we hope to use these cars to illustrate the point and, really, just show them off. After all they are very visually striking cars!

For the purposes of the programme we are planning to shoot some of the items in our studio in Leeds and some of it outside on location in and around the Yorkshire region. In fact, we are hoping to film some pieces next Thursday (1st March) out on Ilkley Moor. However, in both instances (studio or location) we will only be shooting the cars in a static set-up, i.e. we will not need to drive it around anywhere, and we would only really need to shoot the car itself; we will not need an interview from the owner. The whole process would only take a couple of hours as well. I appreciate that next Thursday is rather short notice (our presenter has a rather full schedule) but if you think you might be able to help us on that date, that would be great - failing that, any support, help or interest would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks for your time."
