Porschmode / Porschemode in Bristol - opinions?

Hi all.

Just wondering whether anyone had any opinions (good or bad) on Porschmode in Bristol? I've just bought a 944 and will need to get her checked out by someone who knows what they're doing, and will also need belts and things doing and no doubt big services in due time. I've had Brian Woodward at Woodward motors recommended, and seen a few other posts praising him, but Porschmode is a bit closer, looks to be reasonably priced and knowledgeable, so thought I'd check out the competition!

(I searched on here, but couldn't find anything about Porschmode at all - possibly because the search is playing up...)

Thanks in advance,

G

I have heard of Porschmode, but that's about it. I haven't heard anything else either way about them.

Hi. I have used Porschmode in Bristol for a couple of years now, for both my 996 and my wifes Boxster.

Would highly recommend them. They know there stuff and their pricing is hugely competitive against my local OPC.

Speak to Ian or the owner, Chad. web address is www.porschmode.clubporsche.com at least it was when I last checked.

Their number is 0870 7655911. Mention that Steve Bolt recommended them, and you'll be well looked after I'm sure.

I can't speak from personal experience, being in Scotland, but the TIPEC magazine last month featured a big report on Porschemode. They seem to come very, very highly recommended by all the Bristol-based TIPEC members. The general feeling was that they're really good no-nonsense, down to earth types and know their Porsches inside-out.

Many thanks one and all. I'll try Brian for a start as I've already booked him, and try Porschemode for something else in the future.

Best,

Giles

One more vote for Porsche mode. Ian and the team have done the last few bits on my 944, very approachable and helpful and the prices aren't bad.
