Just thought I would share how helpful the Forum can be.
Recently, on the advice of Colin and Robin at Ninemeisters ( smashing people ) I decided to drop my C2 by 30mm. Costs of doing this scared me off however I put a wanted note on the Forum. I got a mail from another member ( thanks Ray ) offering me a set of used H and R springs and Monroe shocks for a v.v. reasonable price.
These were delivered to 9M ( thanks again Ray ) and proved to be ideal. Upshot is that, following expert fitting of springs and rear shocks and geo I have now got a car that handles as it should and also looks so much better.
Moral of story is that this medium is incredibly helpful and you never know who has bits unless you ask.
So that's probably my only positive post for the year out of the way.
