Possible Porsche Track Day at Croft

Did anyone spot in this month's Porsche Post the possibility of a club track day at Croft. It's on p16, second column:

'and also the possiblity of a day at Croft in North Yorkshire. If we are able to justify days at these circuits, we will advise members in future issues of Porsche Post.'

That would be great having a track day in the north, not as much travelling and if you're like me, Porsche Club events are covered on my insurance.

I'm going to email Steve Kevlin and let him know I'm definitely interested. Anyone else??

Yep ... as long as it's not a week day.

oh by the way ... 911 SXP is now residing in my garage and is going out on it's first hoon in about, ooh, half an hour! [:D]

Following this mornings little jaunt, it went better than I could have hoped:

- Traction... check
- Understeer... check
- Performance... check [;)]
- Occassional blue flame... check [:D]

I think I'm going to quite enjoy this.

And I suspect it may have already been chipped[8D]

here are a few pics from this morning ... er, it was nice and clean at 6am, these were about 8am [:D]

and before anyone asks, no, the headlights are not transplanted from an old TVR - they have such a thick film of muck over them that I was able to literally peel it off in practically one piece!

I'd be up for Croft without doubt.

Burriana - Good to have met you on club night and enjoy the car. I'll bring the C2S out for a play one early one Sunday.

Regards

OK guys, get messaging Steve Kevlin and let him know you're interested and that we'd like to see a Porsche Club trackday in the north.

Count me in! Croft is a great circuit, if a little flat

come on Glenn, put your name down - this could be your big day [;)]
