Big thank you to Carol and Mark

For organizing the Christmas Meal, the walk around the cities Sniklegates and the Hotel,

We had a great day in York on Saturday, Lorraine, Michael and Chris bought real bargians, its got to be Linda's and my turn next time.

Sunday, Linda and Lorraine went to MacAurthur Glen (Suprise Suprise) and a few of went up to Specialist Cars Malton, its suprising how quick an hour and a half goes when looking at motors that you could only dream about, the star for me was a 959 with only 250 miles just sold for a cool £750,000

once a again thank you Carol, Mark

Yes thanks a lot Mark and Carol for your efforts. We all had a great weekend with a good drunken raucous walk back to the hotel on Saturday night- just like being a student again!!
The highlight for me though was definately the 'comfort break' half way through the snickleway walk. Having consumed two pints of 'Black Sheep' I would not have survived without it- thanks Mark.
Lets hope for another good year with some more enjoyable events and good weather.

Chris, Linda and Michael

Thank you Carol and Mark

We had a great evening. Don't know what happened to me but I managed to snap my shoe in half without noticing, explained why I had a sore foot when I got back to the hotel.

Well done Carol & Mark. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and everyones' company. Snickets & Ginnels were great and our guide was most entertaining and informative. Enjoyed Melton's as well - hope we're not on the roof next time!

Good to see that York has escaped the recession!

Carol & Mark,

Thank you for organising a great evening, along with the great company who attended. As a pair of old Yorkies we also learnt a bit too! Although we had been down a few snickleways before, but that's another story and from a long time ago.....

Ditto all the above. Lisa & I were having a debate about our favorite couple. Of course you are all lovely people, but the first thought that came in to my head was Chris & Steve!

Mike.

Many thanks Mark & carol, difficult things to organise and get the balnace right, all in all a great weekend in our favourite city, how lucky to be local!

Thanks Mark & Carol

Randolph

PS - Is it common knowledge now that Chris and Steve have come out as a couple ? I thoguht Steve was leaving Chris and coming over to the 'modern' side. We are waiting to welcome him with open arms - the drinks are on you Steve.

Morning Guys

Would love to come over to the modern side, however couldn't afford to keep you in peanuts (Randolph), plus I'd hate to come between you and Dave []

Its a good job Chris, and I aren't easily offended, and have broard shoulders. [:D]

Steve

Thank you Carol & Mark for organising last Saturday, we had a great time, great informative walk and good meal with an excellent group of people.
Here's to next year !!
