Post Fitting Sat Nav

I think I just answered my own Q .. Reading OPC parts says GBP 2650 + VAT to purchase and GBP 600 for labour/fitting

We have a Garmin C340 already (and 2 Garmin Vs as well hmmm) ... . We spec'd the Porsche Sat Nav in the Cayenne but where just wondering how much to get the same in the Boxster

FWIW I tried and hated the TomTom 700 ... it attempted to route me up the emergency exit ramps on the M4, M40 and M25 and also the wrong way down one way streets in Reading and Wokingham which have been one way for at least 10 years... Also IMO the map detail was not as good as Garmins .. But loads of people seem to get on with the TT systems

I agree with Mark,
A portable Sat Nav system is an ideal solution. Mine is usuable when you are a pedestrian as well as when in car. I can swap it between all the cars, use it on the bike (although sound is a problem but I'm working on that one (FM transmitter and FM radio with speakers in the helmet). Plus the fact I can use it is anyone else's car if needs be.
Cost - less than £400 with all fittings for cars and bike.

£3200 in one car - no contest

Cheers,
