What an event... All seasons over a weekend, but mostly Autumn [;)]

Thanks to Charles for his masterly organisation of the F1 Box, to Sean Edwards for showing us how to do it, and to all others for good fun and excellent company!

But what a carnage this year! In the first racing session, the first accident happened on top of Raidillon when someone crashed after one warm-up lap. I left the track on Sunday with a sobering sight of a GT3 Cup, Martini colors, which rolled on top of Raidillon, then caught fire (category Sport).

In this context, judging by the absence of calamities in our F1 Box, our frontal lobes must work quite well (I will get you all scanned [;)] )

Changes of weather and track conditions were too much for the frontal lobes of too many [;)][;)]

10 years of PCF Days next year! Will be a big event.

My highlights were:
The Sean Edwards line through Eau-Rouge
Dancing through Eau Rouge on Des initial roll bar set up
Des "je suis un artiste" demonstration of salsa in the bar [:D][:D]

But I am still here! Dragging it out for as long as possible. If Carlsberg did trackdays this would be it!

Airjacks for next year I think!

Like everyone else, had a great time. Was actually quite a nice experience being passenger for 3 days. Thanks to all those who gave me pax laps . It was interesting to gauge the varying differences between the 64 Range (basic, c/s and cup) . The difference in people's abilities before/after a little coaching session with Sean were very obvious. Clearly money well spent .
Thanks also to all those who stayed at the B&B for the great company. My favorite moment of the weekend was......having come in from a really fast and manic session in race, sitting in Melv's cup car we roll to a halt . The drivers door opens and Hacki appears asking Melv for 3 ice creams and a lolipop [:D]

a) Dear Sir, I´m awfully sorry, but I´m out of icecream and lollipops at the moment. I would love to help you as soon as possible and you´ll get a big discount then.

or was it

b) **** ***!!

Hacki [:D][:D]

I think it was c) My ice cream van is misfireing and the refrigeration unit has lost power. Ice creams will be back on sale after a trip to Wayne Schofield's.

Is there a prize Hacki?

Nice to met you at a Spa. Terrific your cars... Congratulations, yes, beautifull racing machines. I want one!!!

Melv, thank for your explanations and for all the stickers. I will put the 964 ones as soon as I get my Yellow RS next week. I promise photos.

I enjoy so much these 3 days at Spa with my 968CS, yes didn't sound, I have the original exhaust, we in Madrid at Jarama circuit don't can race with more than 90DB... ??????? street legal car can sounds 95DB... also the shocks are the originals koni cup. Next time I need to try wet tires in rain, in Spain the rain is not as ussual than in Belgium.

Some of you are driven in Toyos 888 also in rain? I drove Michelin sport cup in rain and the grip is not to bad, are better the Toyos tires for rain?

No more, thanks for all.

I'd like to thank everyone for the warm welcome me and my stag buddies received at Spa on Friday and Saturday morning. For me it was great to catch up with old friends and meet new ones, for my mates it was a chance to experience the enthusiasm and passion we have for our cars, and to see some of them on track being driven how they're meant to be.

Mark, Steve, James, Rob and Marc were very grateful for the kind offers of passenger laps on Friday in what were very challenging conditions on track. Special thanks to Ian and Vic who went out of their way to make sure the guys all got a good few fast laps in the breaks in the weather - my friends were impressed with your enthusiasm and willingness to share the experience. Cheers guys! [;)]

We left Spa at lunchtime on Saturday and made our way up to Brugge where we had two nights trying just a few of the Belgian beers - good times with great mates in a beautiful city. The memories will stay with me for a long time.

Below are a few blurry pics I took with my iPhone on Saturday morning. We took a lot of much better quality pics while we were there and will upload them as soon as they have been sorted through.

Cheers guys. [:)][:)]

Charles, I did not know that you had a GT3 in the stable! [;)]

Excellent video Ian ! Brings it all back . Don't think I can take as much kerb as Sean out of mechanical sympathy for the car , but certainly helps in getting past traffic ! Brilliant , look forward to discussion at next curry in city.
