What a great day, thanks to Stuart and everyone for making it such an enjoyable trip.
Well done all of you!

Here are a few of my pics, none of the awesome roads as we were manning the Le Touquet checkpoint, we managed to get our special guest Henri to sign a few autographs for the kids as he swept through... [;)]

Hope Ian and Charlotte got home ok?

I really enjoyed this apart from the Le Touquet parking but it was a great run and great roads well Done Stu and Gavin for what was a great weekend.. I think we found the best eatery in Dover and Thanks for Tom giving me a shock in the morning... I looked out the hotel room to see Tom's car still in the car Park and I thought he hadn't got up... I was woundering what to do...then he was on the ferry in 914.. [:D][:D]

We need to do stuff like this again it's not too far to do but we need to make a longer weekend of it in France..

We did find a supermarket that was open and we are stocked up with goodies.. I was stocked when I saw my car about to be rammed by some French guy I quickly walked to the car to shout at him to stop when he was about 1cm!!!!! from my car!! " Arrr Monsure no problem " ....like **** there was...

Here are some pictures I just noticed I didn't take many [:(] any one got any others...

Err thanks Guys!

We made good time once we'd stopped for petrol and the car behaved itself impeccably. Not sure it enjoyed bouncing off the rev limiter on the ferry, but I hope it's not caused any lasting damage.

Thanks for the tool loan and assistance.

What was the problem with Charlottes car . . . . looks like pedal box.

That's a great picture on me [:-] [][:'(]. . . . wonder what Charlotte and Ian are thinking in the background . . . . wa**er no doubt [:D]

Thanks again for a fab . . . AAAA+++++ day.

Phil

ORIGINAL: early 911

. . . . wa**er for sure [:D]

Well done on winning Phil - yes the accelerator linkage had managed to get itself lodged in the tunnel and wouldn't close. It was a bit of a shock when I got in to start her and that happened after Charlote had driven so spiritedly in France without incident.

Minor glitch glad we had the tools and the knowhow between us to get it all sorted and every one on their way......

Just the sort of thing we don't want to happen but I think you had it sorted in under 20 mins so excellent.

More pictures!!!!!

Oh !!!! weeee Can't wait to tell Jo we got some points... did we get any points for being the only car to stock up on French food and wine as we found the only Super Market open in France on a Sunday at 5.30pm... [:D][:D][:D]

20 bulbs . . . . only picture I managed to take apart from the post office door. Bought some petrol, the french women behind the counter was mad (but happy [:)])
