Posting of photos

Can I just point out that while all these photo' s are lovely there are forum rules regarding the posting of photo' s you all should be aware of.

All of those I have seen are just about ok but just keep in mind that photo' s should be

1. Restricted to less than 100k
2. No more than 300k of images in any one thread by any one person
3. Should be jpg' s or gif' s
4. On topic (ie porsche related)

I think the intent of the rules is just to manage the load on the forum servers and to consider the effect on those with dial up connections.

In addition some concern has been expressed regarding number plates in photo' s. I believe possible cloning is the issue. I guess if you want to post your own np then that' s ok (I think) but please consider this if posting pics of other peoples cars.

Sorry to be a grouch but its my job [;)]

Cheers

Andy (picture coming soon, when new wheels on [:)]

Andy,

Apologies for flouting the rulebook. Please remove all of my photos in the thread. I insist.

Brian

Not sure whether your joking or not.

No ones broken any rules so I' m not going to remove anything. Its fine to post photo' s just be aware of the issues.

I only mentioned any of this because of the number plate thing.

It' s not my intent to be heavy handed, just thought its better to mention these things sooner rather than later.

Hope we' re all still smiling..[:)]

Andy

Andy - have removed the offending photo' s but of course the (now empty) post still remains so please could you remove threads / posts which are empty. ? - Thanks. Steve. PS - I suggest that Brian is serious, so better remove those posts, and I think there is a chance of []........

file size limitation and file type is restricted by software (its 200k per attachment which must be gif, jpg, jpeg or txt) - it is possible to put links to larger pictures or to movies but, as Andy says, remember the guys with slow modems...
