Update 12 May 2023 -
Yesterday afternoon we had notification from Porsche Centre Wilmslow informing us that they would be unable to support the event with their staffing and demonstrators on the date already agreed. In our early conversations it seemed that they would be delighted to host the event at the impressive venue and indeed have suggested that they will re-arrange the day at Mottram Hall, a prestigious and impressive location, later in the Summer.

Martin has a meeting with Porsche Wilmslow next week and will aim to secure an alternative day which we will inform you of prior to any official notification to the general membership.

We are extremely sorry that we have had to inform you of this cancellation and how it will impact on your plans, but we will certainly continue to develop interesting events for the 992 Register throughout the UK and will continue our monthly communications.

Kind Regards
Martin and David

To celebrate the 911’s 60th year since its Motor Show Launch in 1963, the new PCGB 992 Register team are holding several events throughout the UK during 2023. One of the Northern events will be a ‘Ride & Drive’ event at Mottram Hall in conjunction with Porsche Wilmslow on 24th May 2023.

There will be two sessions, one in the morning with brunch, the other after lunch with Afternoon tea provided. Porsche Wilmslow will supply seven new demonstrators for our use on the day including 992’s, Boxster, Taycan and Macan. The members, comprising 7 drivers and passengers (14 guests) will arrive in the morning at 9:00am for a tea or coffee before setting off at 9:30am and will follow a pre-planned drive through the Cheshire and Derbyshire countryside to include the infamous Cat & Fiddle route with its splendid roads
and scenery.

On return to Mottram at around 11:30am the guests will be provided brunch and refreshments before departing. A second group will then arrive from 1:00pm to set off at 1:30pm and return at around 3:30pm for afternoon tea.

Registration is required, using the links below:
