How much for fitting do you think? And who would you trust to do the work, assuming outside of the opc network. Most 991s are still under warranty so this will influence decisions on this and other mods for most of us.

I had mine supplied and fitted by OPC Leicester, they did a fine job but I couldn't believe the amount of parts that came with the kit in fact if anyone wants to polish and upgrade a pair of standard heads just make me an offer for a pair of heads with less than 1000 miles on.

Agree with Peter, mine came fitted ex factory and know that the work hours to retrofit is extensive and at current dealer rates[:-] import duty/ carrage and
warrenty issues would make it a non starter imo.

A staggering £8200 including VAT and it is a big job with a lot of parts as I know, because I had all the original ones back but I must say it is a fantastic bit of kit the GTS is a great buy at the moment,
Steve

ORIGINAL: Contraband

Over £8k for a 30bhp increase? [8|]

Completely changes the character of the car and all of this is through new parts not a remap in the engine. Also performance difference quoted by Porsche is conservative - one or two mag are timing the power kit 991 as similar to the 997 Gen 1 Turbo (les than 8.7 to 100mph, nearer 8.1 if you believe the American mags)

Starting to make the GTS sound very appealing...........

Tom is right ref the powerkit, having run a original 997gts and now the latest 991 the difference is a lot more noticeable, also
due to the amount of mechanical work a period of running in is required, my car with 6.5k feels a lot quicker now than when I
took delivery with 1200miles on the clock[8D]
